About Us
In 2015, a small group of traditionally trained Scottish dancers and musicians decided to combine their love of traditional Celtic dance, music, and culture with modern day influences of the 21st century. Out of their desire to keep the Celtic tradition alive, the San Francisco based Celtic dance group Airweavers was created. Since its inception, Airweavers has been choreographing and performing new Celtic dances incorporating traditional Scottish and Irish repertoire with contemporary urban dance influences.

From the early years, we have all been dancing, each one of us with a slightly different background. Years later we have all found a passion for Scottish and Irish dance.
